The Brisbane Golf Club since 2011 has appointed nine ambassadors including dual US Open Champion and former No 1 tennis player Patrick Rafter; the current coach of the Australian cricket team Darren Lehmann; former Australia test cricketers Ryan Harris and Ian Healy as well as current Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja; three-time AFL premiership player and Brownlow Medalist, Simon Black from the Brisbane Lions, current Brisbane Lions player, Daniel Rich, Chris Lynn from the Brisbane Heat and most recently the mighty mare, Winx.
