The Brisbane Golf Club is fast becoming one of the most talked about and improved golf courses in Australia. Influenced over time by designers including Carnegie Clarke in 1904, Dr Alistar Mackenzie in 1926 and more recently Ross Watson, the 18 Hole Championship Course creates a unique golfing experience that can’t be found anywhere else.
We are the only course in Australia which has Champion ultradwarf bermudagrass, a surface which has been installed with great success on over 600 courses in the United States. Among them, Atlanta Athletic Club who hosted the 2011 PGA Championship, the recent back to back US Open site, Pinehurst and Quail Hollow Club in preparation for the 2017 PGA Championship.
Recovering from the devastating Brisbane floods in 2011 the golf course is close to completing the implementation of its master plan and is proud to be included in the Top 100 Golf Clubs in Australia (Golf Digest January 2014.) Our facilities also include a golf shop, three practise holes, driving range and a bunker and short game practise area. The Brisbane Golf Club is also one of the cities best wedding venues and its heritage listed Clubhouse provides the perfect setting.
