Can I book my tee time here on your website?
Absolutely, click here to request a tee time if you are a international or interstate visitor.
Do you have a rain policy?
Yes a refund will be issued after a one-hour delay in play has occurred due to rain and it can be used toward the cost of future play. For golfers who have paid for 18 holes of golf a 100% refund will be issued if 4 or less holes have been played, a 50% refund will be issued if between 5 and 14 holes have been played and no refund will be issued if 15 or more holes have been played. For golfers who have paid for 9 holes of golf a 100% refund will be issued if 4 or less holes have been played and no refund will be issued if 5 or more holes have been played.
Can a reciprocal member play in competitions?
A reciprocal member can play in competitions, but is only eligible to win designated guest or invitation day trophies.
Can I use my Club Card to pay competition fees?
Are members able to introduce a guest to play?
Members can introduce a guest to play if they have a Golf Australia handicap and only with prior approval from the Director of Golf or General Manager. They are not permitted to invite guests on a Wednesday or Saturday unless designated a guest or invitation day. Members accept full responsibility for the actions of their guests. The same guest can only be introduced up to seven times a year unless playing in the Captain’s Challenge.
When there is a tie how do you determine the winner?
Ties, unless specified by the Match Committee, shall be decided by the Golf Australia Countback System, with exact handicap. Go to Page 6 of the Golf Australia Competition Adminstration and Competition Conditions fact Sheet which can be found at www.golf.org.au
When can I use my mobile phone?
Mobile phones must be on silent at all times. Only calls of an essential nature are to be made or taken on course or in the Club House.
What time is the driving range open and who can access it?
The driving range is open seven days a week from 9am on Monday, 7am on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 6am on Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays for members only. Range balls can be purchased until 4.45pm. Reciprocal members, member’s guests, international visitors and interstate visitors can only use the driving range to warm up prior their round of golf.
What are the trading hours for the Golf Shop?
The Golf Shop is open seven days a week from 7am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and from 6am on Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
Is the halfway house open every day?
At present the halfway house is open every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday and on a Friday the Captain’s Challenge is played from 6.30am to 3.30pm. It is also open from 6.30am to 9am on Tuesday and Thursday.
My Golf Link card is lost or damaged and I need a new one, what do I do?
Replacement Golf Link cards can be ordered through the Golf Link website at www.golflink.com.au
Can I get golf lessons?
Yes, you can. Our PGA professionals provide golf tuition by appointment. Call the Golf Shop or email email@example.com for more information.
Is there a dress code?
Yes there is a dress code that applies to the golf course and the club house. Our full dress code can be found here.
I’m travelling from overseas and would like to play golf at The Brisbane Golf Club. Is this allowed and what is the cost?
Yes, The Brisbane Golf Club welcomes international visitors and 18 Holes of Golf is $200. Please note tee times are generally restricted to all day on Monday and after 12.30pm on Tuesday and Thursday. A tee time can be requested by clicking here.
