Established in 1896, The Brisbane Golf Club is a premier golfing destination thanks to the vision of our founding members. With great foresight, these pioneers of Australian golf built an exceptional golf course together with traditions and culture that has created the unique combination of challenging golf with unparalleled fellowship among members. Many decades later, we enjoy the benefits of their enthusiasm and energy every day.

Our heritage-listed Clubhouse stands proud and our members, most importantly, adore our 18-hole championship golf course. Our golf course is like no other and in 2018 we were regarded as one of the countries most improved golf courses. We are ranked in the top 100 golf courses in Australia according to both Golf Australia and Australia Golf Digest magazines. In late 2017 we were voted Queensland’s favourite golf course for the second year in a row and Australia’s fourth favourite golf course.

We are proud to again be host venue for the Isuzu Queensland Open which we have hosted on a record 20 occasions to date and also be the home of the Queensland Academy of Sport.

Our transformation to become Australia’s only ‘Champion’ golf course is now complete and our greens match the very best in Queensland and throughout the country. Whilst our putting surface is exclusive to The Brisbane Golf Club in Australia, the same putting surface can be found on over 700 golf courses in the United States.

In 2018 we won back-to-back Division 1 BDGA Pennants and the Gold 1 BDLGA Pennant.

The racing world will again be watching as @winxhorse looks for her 27th straight victory in the Colgate Optic White Stakes today. The bookmakers have her a $1.12 favourite. This could be the final time for Sydney punters to see the champion mare before her campaign moves to Melbourne for a shot at an unprecedented fourth Cox Plate. 📷 Bradleys #gowinx #winx27
