Over the past six days the course has experienced over 270mm of rain with more forecast during the rest of this week. While the rain will be most welcome over the long term, in the short term it has been a little disruptive.
We have seen an improvement in the course over the past couple of days, however, the storm late on Monday evening pushed our plans to re-open back again. As a result the course will not be open on Wednesday, 12 February 2020.
Our course staff are doing everything they can to re-open the course but its important this decision is not rushed.
Please be advised the qualifying round for the 18th Midweek Matchplay Challenge to be played tomorrow will be re-scheduled to a later date. The new date for this event and others affected by the course closure after the past week will be communicated to Members shortly.
