Corner-Stone

The 306m par 4 fifteenth hole is the ultimate risk and reward hole. A lake on the right and bunkers on the left define a narrow landing area for the drive and those looking to get close to the green have a small margin for error. The elevated green is protected by single but challenging bunkers.  A precise pitch will find the green, but watch out for subtle borrows and a fast paced green.

Naming the Hole

Corner-Stone This very thought provoking and great strategic short Par 4 hole is named for its challenge and the opportunity to “make or break” your round. As the name hints – take care and be wary in the way you play this hole before making the turn from this far corner point of the course and onto the 16th and the closing 3 holes.

Playing Tip

A tee shot of around 180 metres to the right side of the fairway will leave a short iron to the green. Controlling the distance of your approach will leave you an opportunity for birdie.

History

The water on the right of the fairway was created in 2010 and this remains the feature of the hole.
